Shahram Chubin is the Executive Director of the Geneva Center for Security Policy.

"Dr. Chubin formerly assistant director of the International Institute for Strategic Studies in London, is now an Executive Director of Geneva Center for Security Policy. He holds a Ph.D. from Columbia University, and has served as a consultant to several agencies, including the United Nations and the U.S. Department of Defense. He has published extensively on security and militarization in the Middle East. His books include Iran and Iraq at War (with Charles Tripp), Germany and the Middle East: Perspectives and Prospects, and Iran's National Security Policy: Capabilities and Intentions." [1]
