"Shah Etebar has over four decades of experience in the oil & gas industry across the US, Europe and the Middle East. He has worked for both international oil companies and national oil companies in a variety of technical roles, as well as managerial and executive positions.

"Following his studies in petroleum engineering at West Virginia University, Shah joined Texaco in 1969. His first tenure with the company was for six years, after which he left to work for an oilfield services company. He rejoined Texaco in 1979 and remained with the company for 20+ years, eventually becoming the Vice President of Commercial Development for Euro Asia. He finally left Texaco post the 2001 merger with Chevron in order to pursue entrepreneurial endeavours.

"Shah established a company that developed an oil field which generated oil production of 50,000 BOPD within two years. In 2010, Shah was appointed CEO of CC Energy’s operating company in Oman, CCED. Following his retirement in 2016, Shah was appointed a Director of CC Energy. Shah also serves as a member of the Board’s Technical Committee."[1]
