The Seven Mountains Mandate is a Christian Nationalist philosophy that calls for conservative Christians to dominate seven spheres of public life: family, religion, media, entertainment, business, government, and education. According to NBC News:

"Religious scholars trace the movement to the mid-1970s, when three evangelical pastors said God appeared to each of them in dreams with an identical message about influencing society for Jesus via the Seven Mountains. The idea existed mainly on the margins of the religious right until the early 2000s when the North Texas evangelist Lance Wallnau was introduced to it and saw potential to mobilize Christians."[1]
