Scott M. Spangler
Mr. Scott M. Spangler is the Chairman of Chemonics International, Inc., United States.
"Immediately after Scott Spangler graduated from Harvard Business School he moved to the newly independent states of Ghana and Uganda to work on fiscal and economic policy as a MIT/Ford Foundation Fellow. Today Mr. Spangler is Chairman of the Board of Chemonics International, a consulting firm that provides technical assistance to developing countries under contracts with the U.S. Agency for International Development, the World Bank and other agencies. Chemonics has worked on projects in over 80 countries in the Middle East, Central and South America, Africa, Asia, and the newly independent states of the former Soviet Union. Mr. Spangler has served on the boards of several nonprofit organizations. He was formerly Vice-Chairman of Save the Children USA, and a Director of Africare, Population Action International and United World Colleges. In 1990-91 he was USAID’s Assistant Administrator for Africa and in 1992- 93 he was Associate Administrator of the Agency." [1]
