Biographical Information
Scott Lloyd, Chief Executive Officer, David Lloyd Leisure.
"After graduating from Bristol University, having studied Economics and Accountancy, Scott worked for Societe Generale Investment Bank and RSM Robson Rhodes accountancy firm. From there Scott began his career by launching the Next Generation Clubs in 1997, after he identified a substantial gap in the market for premium, large scale, family-orientated leisure facilities; including pioneering the concept of kids gyms and activity programmes.
"Scott then took a key role in the acquisition of David Lloyd Leisure by London & Regional Properties and HBOS from Whitbread. This deal was completed in August 2007 and he remains the CEO of the integrated businesses. Scott has also been appointed to the Board of the Fitness Industry Association." [1]
