Sarala Gopalan

"Dr Gopalan is President of All India Women's Education Fund Association (AIWEFA) and a former Secretary to various departments of the Government of India. She is a special emissary of the UNICEF (United Nations Children’s Fund) and UNIFEM (the United Nations Development Fund for Women) in India on issues related to violence against women."[1]
