Sarah Malm "serves on behalf of Democracy International as Senior Communications Advisor for the USAID Local Government Support Program in Indonesia. Ms. Malm is an expert on strategic communications and public affairs for democracy and governance programs. From 2002 to 2006, she was Managing Director of Public Strategies, Inc., a public affairs firm based in Austin, Texas, and in 2002 she served as Senior Media Advisor to the U.S. embassy in Indonesia. From 1997 to 1999, Ms. Malm was Chief of Party for Southeast Asia programs, based in Bangkok, Thailand, for the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs (NDI). She served as NDI Program Officer and Chief of Party in Zambia from 1993 to 1995 and also was Vice President at the Cassandra Group, an investment advisory firm in New York, NY. Previously, she worked as a Legislative Assistant for U.S. Senator Paul Simon (D-IL)." [1]
