Sandeep Biswas "is responsible for Rio Tinto Aluminium's smelters in Gladstone, Queensland and Bell Bay, Tasmania.
"Prior to being appointed to his current position in 2005, Sandeep was the general manager for Rio Tinto Aluminium's managed operation Boyne Smelters Limited based in Gladstone.
"His previous roles include general manager of the Kalgoorlie Nickel Smelter (WMC Resources) and general manager of Murrin Murrin (Anaconda Nickel). Sandeep holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Queensland." [1]
