Sam Lipski

Sam Lipski is Chief Executive of the Pratt Foundation and President of the State Library of Victoria.

Accoding to his public relations company Saxton Speakers Bureau: "It was with GTV 9 that he became the first parliamentary correspondent to appear regularly on Australian television from Canberra and was the founding producer for This Day Tonight on the ABC and then Executive Producer of Four Corners. From 1969 to 1973 he was Washington correspondent for The Australian and The Jerusalem Post. He is currently the Editorial Chairman and the former Editor-in-Chief and Executive Publisher of the Australian Jewish News. Sam has been a columnist for the Melbourne Age, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Australian and The Bulletin. He is a former executive editor of Quadrant and has been recognised by the Australian Broadcasting Industry as National News Commentator of the Year. Sam became a Member of the Order of Australia in 1993 for his services to the media" [1].
