Ruth R. Harkin is Senior Vice President, International Affairs and Government Relations, of United Technologies Corporation (UTC) and Chair of United Technologies International from June 1997 to February 2005. Ms. Harkin serves on the board of directors of ConocoPhillips. She is also a member of the State of Iowa Board of Regents. Ms. Harkin serves as a member of AbitibiBowater’s Nominating and Governance, and Human Resources and Compensation board committees." [1]
