The Russell Berrie Foundation is a philanthropic organization which seeks to "promote the continuity and enrichment of Jewish communal life," foster "the spirit of religious understanding and pluralism," and "raising the awareness of terrorism and promoting its prevention."[1] A report by the Center for American Progress has linked RBF to the promotion of anti-Islamic hysteria in the United States.[2]

Funding of Islamophobia

Between 2001 and 2009, the Russell Berrie Foundation donated $3,109,016 to groups promoting Islamophobia, some of which included the Counterterrorism & Security Education and Research Foundation, the Investigative Project on Terrorism, and the Middle East Forum[2]
