Rosanne Clark ~ Secretary

"Rosanne was brought up on a farm in the Underberg district of the Drakensberg mountain region. As a Relief Officer for Ezemvelo KwaZulu-Natal Wildlife (EKZNW) at Lotheni Game Reserve she was offered work with the Wilderness Foundation. Through this Rosanne became very involved in wilderness. She has attended two World Wilderness Congresses, the 7th and 8th. She worked on the secretariat of the 7th WWC and also as coordinator of the first International Wilderness Practice and Concepts Course. Rosanne fulfilled similar duties at the 8th WWC in Alaska where she was part of the second pre-congress International Wilderness Course and presented a poster. She has also participated in four Living Lake conferences in Japan, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Canada and Italy where she was asked to present posters at three of the four conferences.onferences.

"Rosanne is also an active member of other organizations such as KwaZulu-Natal Conservancies Association Committee, Diocese of Natal Environment Committee, Sani Wildlife Branch of WESSA committee as chairman , also chairman of Pholela Biosphere Reserve, vice chairman of EKZNW Local Board Member for Drakensberg Park and Honourary Officer for EKZNW. She works full time, half day job as a parish secretary for Parish of Drakensberg, St, Michael's Church in Himeville , a village in the buffer region of the Drakensberg World Heritage Site. She teaches music and has arranged a variety of classical music concerts in the church. She published a brief history of that church as well." [1]
