Ronald A. Tschetter, of Minnesota, was nominated July 25, 2006, by President George W. Bush to be Director of the United States Peace Corps, vice Gaddi H. Vasquez, who resigned. Tschetter's nomination was sent July 26, 2006, to the U.S. Senate for confirmation.
"Tschetter currently serves as President of D.A. Davidson & Company. Prior to this, he served as President of Dain Rauscher, Incorporated. Earlier in his career, he served as a volunteer with the United States Peace Corps in India. Mr. Tschetter received his bachelor's degree from Bethel College." [1]
