Biographical Information

"Romy Fraser trained as a school teacher in the late ‘60s and subsequently spent six years at Kirkdale School in South London. Whilst working with various community literacy programmes and bringing up two daughters, in 1981, she set up Neal's Yard Remedies. The business grew to become one of the country’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of organic cosmetics and natural medicines. She led the company through a major move to a purpose built eco-factory in Dorset, established educational courses, co-authored books and recently has sold the business in order to set up a training centre to develop skills to help create a sustainable future. She recently moved to Trill Farm, East Devon where she is developing an organic and diverse farm."[1]
