Roger Oglesby
Roger Oglesby "has been Publisher and Editor of the Seattle Post-Intelligencer since February 1, 2000.
"Before joining the P-I, he spent 14 years with The Times Mirror Company and its newspapers. During that time he was President of the Los Angeles Times’ Orange County Edition, Editor and Vice President of The Morning Call in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and CEO of California Community Newspapers. He also served as Assistant General Counsel for the Los Angeles Times and Times Mirror.
"He has been an editor and reporter at several other newspapers, including the San Jose Mercury News, where he was City Editor; the Omaha World-Herald, where he was Metro Editor, and The Dallas Times Herald, where he was the Legal Affairs Writer and Projects Editor.
"Oglesby served in the Peace Corps in Ethiopia and is a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism and the University of California's Hastings College of the Law.
"A former President of Washington's Allied Daily Newspapers, his civic activities in Seattle include membership on the boards of United Way of King County, the Pacific Science Center, the Museum of History and Industry, and the Seattle Chamber of Commerce." [1]
