Biographical Information
"Roger Gaston is senior vice president, Human Resources of Avaya, a global provider of business collaboration and communications solutions. Gaston is responsible for employee compensation and benefits, employee communications, workforce relations, organizational development and transformation, recruitment, talent management and labor relations.
"Gaston previously served as Corporate Vice President, Human Resources, for StorageTek. In this role, he led a global human resources organization focused on transforming the business into a global storage services and solutions leader. In addition, he directed a global learning organization focused on technical, sales and leadership development for employees, partners and customers.
"Prior to working at StorageTek, Roger was the Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Toys "R" Us, where he was responsible for delivering programs and services for more than 72,000 employees worldwide. Earlier in his career, he worked for more than 11 years in senior HR roles at The May Department Stores Company and held executive roles at Carson Pirie Scott and Ahold Americas.
"Recently, he worked at Kenexa Corporation, a leading provider of talent acquisition and retention solutions, where he was Executive Vice President for its Employment Process Outsourcing (EPO) practice.
