Rodd J. Macklin is Chief Financial Officer of Perseus. Prior to joining Perseus, Mr. Macklin was Chief Financial Officer of Hof Service Company, a multi-million dollar service company serving the Baltimore/Washington region. From 1990 to 1993, he was Vice President, Investment Banking of New York-based Reich & Co., Inc. (acquired by Fahnestock & Co., Inc.), a NYSE-member boutique investment firm focused on financing emerging companies. From 1986 to 1990, he was a securities analyst for Legg Mason Wood Walker. From 1985 to 1986, Mr. Macklin was a staff accountant at Arthur Andersen & Co. Mr. Macklin is a Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Financial Analyst. Mr. Macklin holds a B.S. from The College of William & Mary and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. rmacklin@perseusllc.com
