Biographical Information
"Robert Levering believes that any company can become a great workplace and wants to work with others who share that aspiration. He co-founded Great Place to Work® in 1992 with Amy Lyman after having written 8 books (7 with Milton Moskowitz) as well as countless articles as a journalist about bad workplaces. He sees himself as a social change activist who started his career as a full-time organizer against the Vietnam War.
"His non-work activities include: swimming; hiking the hills of San Francisco and the trails of Northern California’s redwood forests; reading 19th century English, French and Russian novels; going to live theatre and classical music concerts; and attending Quaker meetings. His kids keep his ego in check."[1]
