Biographical Information
"Bob Jirsa is vice president, government relations. He oversees Plum Creek’s state and federal government relations including the coordination of communications with state legislators, members of Congress and their respective staffs, and regulatory agencies. He has served in related roles since joining the company in 1994. He also serves as the president of the Plum Creek Foundation, which manages the philanthropic contributions of the company. Prior to joining Plum Creek, Jirsa held public and government affairs positions at Alaska Airlines and ARCO.
"He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from California State University, Fresno. Jirsa chairs the operating committee of the National Alliance of Forest Owners, and serves on the boards of The Coalition for Fair Lumber Imports and Long Live the Kings – a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving wild salmon and steelhead in northwest waters.
