Dr. Robert E. Brockie was a cardiologist who, with tobacco industry consultant Gary Huber wrote articles arguing that secondhand tobacco smoke was not harmful to nonsmokers. He contended that the federal Environmental Protection Agency manipulated inconclusive statistical data to support a political crusade against smoking.(Source: Austin American Statesman, 7-18-94, p.
