Robert Dingwall
"Robert Dingwallis a consulting sociologist with Dingwall Enterprises Ltd and part-time professor at Nottingham Trent University. After studying at the Universities of Cambridge and Aberdeen, he worked at the Universities of Oxford and Nottingham. He has wide international experience in teaching and research, particularly in the interdisciplinary study of law, medicine, science and technology. Robert has chaired the Bioscience for Society Strategy Panel of the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council and previously served as a member of the Committee on Ethical Aspects of Pandemic Influenza and of the Civil Justice Council. He has also been a consultant to Roche on the ethical use of oseltamivir. He is a Fellow and Council member of the Academy of Social Sciences and an Honorary Member of the Faculty of Public Health" [1]
