Robert Blecher

Robert Blecher "is an analyst with the Middle East Program, focusing on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. Prior to joining Crisis Group, he taught history at the University of Richmond, USA and was a fellow at the University of Iowa's Center for Human Rights. He has consulted with UN agencies and previously worked with human rights NGOs in Jerusalem. Blecher holds a Ph.D. in history from Stanford University, where he completed a dissertation on Syrian history." [1]
