Rob Jesmer
In December 2012 FP1 Strategies LLC "announced the addition of Rob Jesmer as a partner at the public affairs, advertising, grassroots and media relations firm. Jesmer joins FP1 Strategies after more than a decade working at the highest levels of Republican politics.
"Most recently, he served as the executive director of the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), a position he held for both the 2010 and 2012 election cycles. During his tenure, Republicans increased the upper body's Republican composition by five seats.
"Prior to his leadership at the NRSC, Rob managed Senator John Cornyn's successful reelection campaign in 2008 and worked on Senator John McCain's presidential campaign. He also served as a regional political director at the Republican National Committee (RNC) during the 2006 cycle and the national field director for the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) during the 2002 cycle. At the NRCC, Rob directed the political operation that resulted in an historic electoral victory for Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives. According to The Associated Press, "[i]t was only the fourth time since Abraham Lincoln that the president's party picked up House seats in a midterm election."
"In addition to his campaign work, Rob also has extensive experience on Capitol Hill, including two years as chief of staff to Representative Mike Rogers of Alabama (2002-2004). Rob guided then-freshman Rep. Rogers through his first years in Congress, helping him become a leading conservative voice in the House. " [1]
