"Rita is Director of Secondary Education at The Mead Educational Trust, with an Executive Principal role for Rushey Mead Academy and Castle Mead Academy.
"Born in Uganda, Rita arrived in the UK aged nine in 1972 as a refugee, part of the exodus of Ugandan Asians. She has taught English in Leicester schools held a number of senior leadership roles at Rushey Mead Academy and was principal there between 2014-18. She is a senior partner in the Challenge Partner network of schools." [1]
