"Richard was a Managing Director, Head of Marketing & Strategic Development at Renaissance Capital, the emerging markets’ leading private investment bank from 2004-2009. He was responsible for the Groups strategic development and client marketing activities globally, covering Russia, Sub Sahara Africa, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and international sales hubs in London, New York, Hong Kong and Dubai.

"Prior to joining Renaissance Capital, Richard was the Director, Head of Russian Operations for the Russo-British Chamber of Commerce in Russia, representing the interests of both Russian and British corporates and institutions doing business bilaterally.

"Richard is a member of the Board of Trustees of the John Smith Memorial Trust and the British Charity ‘Partners in Hope’, and previously served the Board of Directors of the Russian Rugby Union.

"Richard studied Russian Language & Literature at Birmingham University, an MBA from London Business School and was based in Russia for seven years. He is British, a fluent Russian speaker and a good working knowledge of Chinese Mandarin." [1]
