Biography
"Richard Unwin is Chairman of several companies in Asia and the Middle East. He is a Founder member of CPTM Commonwealth Partnership for Technology Management and Life Patron of the NSPCC. He is an investor in science and technology and supports young scientists in commercialisation of their new innovations. He works with University Research departments. He is a specialist in renewable energy. For the last 15 years his core business has been solar cell technology and renewable energy. Richard Unwin is involved with other philanthropic work. He is a Freeman of the City of London. He has two sons and two daughters, is a keen tennis player and a member of the MCC. He is also a compulsive international traveller." [1]
