Richard Merzian

Richard Merzian "is a final year combined Economics & Law student at Sydney University and an emerging voice of youth empowerment in the climate change movement. Richard has been selected to undergo Al Gore’s climate change leadership program in September 2007 and is the current NSW Action Night Coordinator for Project Australia. He can also be seen on TV as the ‘Eco-Nerd’ and Captain of the hit show Nerds FC (season 2). Richard has been actively involved in many social justice issues and groups, like the Legal Observers and Law Students for a Just Community, but has taken a real passionate interest in what he sees as the greatest challenge to face our generation; Dangerous Climate Change."
