Biographical Information
"Richard House, Ph.D. is Senior Lecturer in Psychotherapy and Counselling, Department of Psychology, Roehampton University. A counsellor/psychotherapist since 1990 and a trained Steiner Kindergarten and class teacher, author and editor of many ground breaking publications.

"Richard is a co-founder of The Alliance for Counselling and Psychotherapy against State Regulation, and a founder-participant in the Independent Practitioners Network and of theOpen EYE early-years campaign. With author Sue Palmer, he co-orchestrated the two press Open Letters on ‘toxic childhood’ and ‘play’ in 2006 and 2007, helping to precipitate a global media debate about the state of childhood in modern technological culture.
"In 2008, Richard was voted one of London’s ‘Top 1,000 most influential people’ by the London Evening Standard newspaper."[1]
