Richard Creasey "has been chair of tve since 2003. He was one of the organisation's founding trustees in his role as Controller, Features Group at Central Television, a post he held for 14 years until 1991. From 1991 - 94 Richard was both Director of Network Factual Programmes at Meridian Broadcasting and Director of Special Projects at Central. In 1989 Richard founded the East West Creative Association (EWCA), the first creative media joint venture between the Soviet Union and the UK. Ten years on, Richard became Founder Director of BUR Media Group, a derivative of EWCA, which pioneered theatrical distribution for Disney and Colombia TriStar, built and now operates the first IMAX theatre in Moscow, and set up two animation studios, a publishing company, and a DVD replication plant. In 1995 Richard, with Douglas Adams and Robbie Stamp, co-founded h2g2 Ltd. This site was bought by the BBC New Media in 2001. Richard remained Editor-in-Chief of h2g2 at the BBC and has presented his first radio series Crossing the Boundary for BBC Radio 4." [1]
