Biographical Information

"RICHARD ASTOR is David Astor's elder son who, like his father, has long supported various human rights and development causes. He has established, supported and served on the boards of a number of UK-based charities. He now lives near Cape Town in South Africa where he is engaged in an innovative collective farming initiative and social enterprise as a trustee of the Wijn de Caab Trust. He also set up the Delta Trust there to fund other local programmes, and remains involved with various charitable activities in the UK. "
