Riaz Siddiqi "is a Founder and Managing Partner of Denham Capital a private equity firm that manages over 4 billion dollars and invests in the commodity and energy sectors globally.. He brings 30 years of experience to the firm. In addition to his responsibilities as Managing Partner, he is a member of the Executive Committee, Management Committee, Investment Committee, and Valuation Committees. Riaz is fluent in Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi, and speaks some French as well. Prior to joining Denham Capital in 2004, Riaz was President and CEO of Capstone Global Energy, and before that he held Managing Director and other executive roles at Cinergy Capital and Trading and other Cinergy companies. Previously, he served as Manager, Market Management Research, for the Electric Power Research Institute, a Project Manager for Georgia Power Company, Senior Financial Analyst for San Diego Gas & Electric, and Systems Analyst at Southern Company, after spending some time as a Project Engineer in Pakistan.

"Riaz is President and CEO of the Organization of Pakistani American Entrepreneurs of North America – Houston Chapter. Riaz is also a pioneer member of Unity Productions Foundation, an organization dedicated to promoting interfaith peace and understanding through the production of media content. Riaz is a licensed private pilot, and flies as a volunteer pilot for Graceflight, and Pilots for Patients, organization serving the transportation needs of needy patients. Riaz serves in an advisory capacity to the Development Committee of the Houston Chapter of Development in Literacy, an organization that is enabling the education of 15000 children in Pakistan. Riaz received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Pakistan University of Engineering & Technology and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Graduate School of Business at Mississippi State University."
