RealClearPolitics (RCP)—RealClearPolitics.com—is a Chicago-based online "independent political website" founded in 2000 by John McIntyre and Tom Bevan, its website states. RCP also maintains a blog on Time magazine's website.

"Updated every morning and throughout the day, RCP culls and publishes the best commentary, news, polling data, and links to important resources from all points of the political compass and covering all the important issues of the day," its website states.

In November 2007, Forbes Media purchased a 51 percent interest in RCP.[1]
