Ramzy Baroud
Ramzy Baroud – Founder and Executive Director of Just Media - "is an author and a journalist, former Al-Jazeera producer, and founder of several progressive online media projects. Baroud’s work has been published in hundreds of newspapers and journals around the world, including The Washington Post, The International Herald Tribune, The Christian Science Monitor, The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Seattle Times, The Miami Herald, The Japan Times and Al-Ahram Weekly. He has been a guest on numerous television programs including CNN International, BBC, ABC Australia, National Public Radio, Al-Jazeera and many others. He has contributed to many anthologies and his 2002 book, Searching Jenin: Eyewitness Accounts of the Israeli Invasion received widespread international recognition. His second book, The Second Palestinian Intifada: A Chronicle of a People’s Struggle was published in 2006 by Pluto Press, also to worldwide critical acclaim. Ramzy Baroud is a very experienced media practioner, who has taught Mass Communication at Curtin University of Technology, and has been a guest speaker at top universities around the world, including Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Virginia Commonwealth University, Rutgers, Penn State and Manchester University, among many others."
