The Post-conflict Reintegration Initiative for Development and Empowerment (PRIDE) "is a Sierra Leonean nongovernmental organization working to advance a lasting peace through reintegration and development by ameliorating the socio-economic conditions of ex-combatants and individuals still suffering the effects of the decade-long war." [1]

"The Post-Conflict Reintegration Initiative for Development and Empowerment (PRIDE) is an NGO founded by three Sierra Leonean youth: Allan Quee, Patrick Amara and Lawrence Sessay. PRIDE advocates for ex-combatants and youth. They have conducted a series of survey projects with the International Center for Transitional Justice and UN agencies. Their most recent report, “Ex-Combatant Views of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission and the Special Court of Sierra Leone,” was released in 2002." [2] pdf
