Philip W. Johnston
Philip W. Johnston, is the President and founder of the public relations firm, Johnston Associates, which specializes in healthcare issues.[1] He is also Chair of the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts Foundation.[2]

Biographical profile
According to a biographical note, Johnston was elected to the Massachusetts state legislature five times. He was "appointed by President William Jefferson Clinton to serve as the New England Director for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, where he served until 1996. Phil had been serving as the Executive Director of the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial in Washington, D.C., an institution dedicated to improving social justice and human rights throughout the world. From 1984 to 1991, Phil served as Secretary of Human Services in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts under Governor Michael Dukakis."[2]
"In 1996, Phil was a Democratic candidate for Congress in the 10th District of Massachusetts. Phil was twice elected Chair of the Massachusetts Democratic Party. In addition to holding several honorary degrees, Phil has received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a Master of Arts Degree from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University," the biographical note states.[2]
