Philip L. Weickhardt

Philip L. Weickhardt "is the Chairman for the Board for Earthwatch Institute Australia. From 1997-2001, Mr. Weickhardt was the CEO of Orica Limited (formerly ICI Australia), a publicly listed company, which is the world's largest commercial explosives supplier and Australia's largest chemical company. Prior to this, Mr. Weickhardt spent 26 years in a wide variety of roles within the ICI Group, including 7 years in the U.K. early in his career. Mr. Weickhardt is currently an Adjunct Professor at the Melbourne - Mt. Eliza Business School and is a Commissioner with the Productivity Commission (an independent policy research group of the Federal Government). He is also Chairman of another not-for-profit, and is a member of the Board of a Cooperative Research Centre focused on molecular plant breeding. Mr. Weickhardt has a M.S. from the University of Melbourne in physical chemistry, and attended the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School in 1990." [1]
