Peter Whitbread-Abrutat

Peter Whitbread-Abrutat "has worked at Eden Project since prior to its opening in March 2001. He now works for the Eden Foundation team as Senior Scientist, managing the Eden – Rio Tinto partnership, and has been involved in the development of the Post-Mining Alliance since its inception in 2002. Prior to working at Eden, Pete was employed at the University of Exeter’s Camborne School of Mines (CSM), investigating the amelioration of mining-related arsenic contamination of soils and waters around closed metal mines in southern Thailand. He gained his PhD from CSM in the re-vegetation of metalliferous mine wastes. He graduated in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge in 1990."
