Biographical Information

"Peter has a background in horticulture and landscape management. He was Senior Lecturer in Landscape Management at the University of Bath where he designed undergraduate and postgraduate courses that gave new insights and deeper understanding of the connections between people, plants and landscape. He has been responsible for a rich collection of graduates who now occupy senior positions in plant-related establishments like Eden Project, botanic gardens around the world, landscape design practices and Universities. And the Sensory Trust!... He was presenter of the Victorian Kitchen Garden television series and Horticultural Director for the Eden Project. He now runs a consultancy practice, guiding the work of landscape design and architecture practices, and the management of historic estates. Peter is the author of several books including Two Blades of Grass: The Story of the Cultivation of Plants."[1]
