Biographical Information

"From September 2003 to September 2008, Mr. Bowie was the Chief Executive Officer of Deloitte China and was a member of the board of directors and the management committee of Deloitte China until May 2010. In such capacities, he was not involved with the audits of the Corporation performed by Deloitte & Touche LLP for the 2007 to 2010 fiscal years. From 1998 to 2000, Mr. Bowie was the Chairman of Deloitte Canada (prior to Deloitte & Touche LLP becoming the Corporation’s auditors). He is also a director of Magna International Inc. (an automotive supplier) and China COSCO Holdings Company Limited (a shipping and related services company). Mr. Bowie has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from St. Mary’s University, a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Ottawa, an Advanced Management Program degree from Harvard Business School, and an International Company Directors Diploma from the Australian Institute of Corporate Directors. He has been a Chartered Accountant in Canada since 1978, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Ontario) and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Corporate Directors."
