Perdana Global Peace Organization
The Perdana Global Peace Organization (PGPO) is an activist organization founded and led by former Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad with the goal of permanently ending war.
"Malaysia is trying to make killing people in war as much a crime as murder in any human society ... Whoever initiates wars must be condemned as criminal killers and must be punished by the international community."
The name "Perdana" refers to Mahathir's former title of Prime Minister which he had held since 1981.

Kuala Lumpur Initiative
In 2005, Mahathir proposed the Kuala Lumpur Initiative to: [2]
- Prosecute killing during wartime as murder under international law
- Criminalize "all commercial, financial, industrial and scientific activities that aid and abet war"
- Transfer the United Nations power to authorize war from the Security Council to the General Assembly.
War Crimes Commission
The PGPO established the Kuala Lumpur International War Crimes Tribunal (KLIWCT) and the Kuala Lumper War Crimes Commission (KLWCC) to find the United States and Israel guilty of war crimes related to the 2003 U.S. invasion and occupation of Iraq and the ongoing Arab-Israeli conflict. [3] [4] [5]
Activities
The PGPO funded one of the seven ships that attempted to run the Israeli naval blockade of the Gaza strip in 2010. [6] [7]
