"Per Etholm is Strategic Advisor to the CEO of Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations and member of the Leadership Team. Per joined CEPI in June 2017 as CFO, responsible for building CEPI´s Finance, Operations and Governance, Risk & Compliance departments. As Strategic Advisor to the CEO from January 2019, Per will provide cross-functional perspective and advice across the CEPI departments in parallel with focusing on and supporting Investor Relations, Resource Mobilisation and Innovative Finance activities.

"Per has broad global finance and corporate business CEO and Board experience from nearly 40 years of leadership positions in International and Global Banking, Private Equity, and as Interim Corporate CEO in the Nordic countries. He has worked globally his entire career with Citi and has been based and lived in Switzerland, the U.K, Norway and other Nordic Countries. "Per has significant board and governance experience as board member and Deputy Chairman of Citibank International Plc Europe and Diners Club Switzerland and from the Boards of the Norwegian and Swiss Bankers associations, the Swiss Chamber of Commerce and the Swiss Finance Institute. Per has been Executive Advisor, Board member and Chairman of a leading Nordic private equity firm FSN Capital Partners. He has been Chairman and acting CEO for several Nordic corporates under restructuring. Per had a near 3 decade global career with Citibank/Citigroup and was the CEO of the first foreign bank in Norway, of Citibank Nordic, and later of Citi, as the largest foreign bank in Switzerland. He was also Senior Risk Manager/Credit Officer of Citibank/Citigroup for more than 25 years. Per was pro-bono Chairman of the global entrepreneurial NGO organisation Junior Achievement-Young Enterprise Switzerland for five years.

"Per holds a M.Sc./Siviløkonom degree from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration, Bergen, Norway and served his military service as Crypto Officer at the HQ defense Southern Norway."[1]
