Biographical Information
"Penny is Managing Director East Midlands Airport and MAG Regional Airports (Bournemouth and Humberside). She is also a director of the Manchester Airport Group Board and of the UK Airport Operators Association Board. Penny has a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from Leicester and an MBA (Loughborough/Henley). She is a non-executive director of Melton Mowbray Building Society and a member of Council for Loughborough University. Before moving into the airport business, Penny worked for Mars for seven and was also Business Unit Director of Asda (culminating in the £6bn own label business) , three years at Boots the Chemists in Business Development and Strategy Development and four years at Walkers Snackfoods (PepsiCo). She grew up on a farm in Leicestershire and has lived in east Leicestershire ever since."[1]
