"Paul Schaper is responsible for global health policy issues in infectious disease, non-communicable disease, and reproductive health at Merck & Co. His work has involved HIV prevention and treatment issues for over two decades. In previous positions at Merck, he worked in the vaccine division on Merck’s HIV and HPV vaccine programs.[1]
"From 2013 – 2017, he served as the Board Member for the Private Sector Constituency on board of the Global Fund for HIV, TB, and Malaria. He currently serves as the Private Sector Alternate Board Member. He earned his B.A. and master’s degrees in public health policy and business administration from Emory University and a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Georgia State University."
