Biographical Information

In 2012: "The Prince of Wales Foundation in the USA is pleased to announce that, with effect from 20th June, 2012, Dr. Paul Carter has been appointed a member of the Foundation’s Board of Directors.

"Dr. Carter is President of Global Wireless Solutions, Inc. a company he started in 1996, which assesses the performance of commercial wireless networks in the United States and internationally. Dr. Carter is also President and founder of MapHook, Inc., the developer of a location-based, social networking application.

"Dr. Carter is extremely active in Washington, DC arts philanthropy and is a member of the Kennedy Center’s International Committee for the Arts and a Vice Chair on its Corporate Fund Board. He serves on the board of trustees for the Washington, DC based Shakespeare Theatre Company and is a member of both the National Gallery of Art’s Collector’s Committee and the Wilson Council at the Woodrow Wilson Center."[1]
