Biographical Information
"Patricia Wertheim Abrams began her 35-year publishing career in the trade book and professional publications divisions of McGraw-Hill Inc. As Associate Publisher at Garber Communications, publisher of Rudolf Steiner Books, she helped create and develop their spiritual fiction imprint. She has extensive experience in shaping literature related to spiritual awareness. Ms. Abrams was Executive Vice-President, COO and co-founder of Abrams and Company Publishers Inc., now Abrams Learning Trends — a national publisher of early childhood education materials reaching 30 million children and teachers with curriculum content enriched by social-emotional development. Ms. Abrams is currently a Principal of Riacom, Inc., consultants to publishers and media industries. She served two consecutive terms as Trustee and Vice-Chairperson of the Board of the Association for Research and Enlightenment, The Edgar Cayce Foundation and Atlantic University. She is on the Board of Directors of the Consciousness Research and Training Project, Inc., founded by Lawrence Le Shan. As a Trustee and Alumni Association President at Connecticut College, she initiated the Alumni-Student Internship Program.
