Biographical Information

"PATRICIA ALBJERG GRAHAM, 75, joined Apache’s board of directors in September 2002. Dr. Graham is the Charles Warren Professor of the History of Education, Emerita at Harvard University. She joined the faculty of Harvard Graduate School of Education in 1974 and served as its dean from 1982 to 1991. From 1991 to 2000, she served as president of the Spencer Foundation, the nation’s leading funder of research into educational improvement. Dr. Graham is a director of Central European University, and Smolny College of St. Petersburg State University, Russia. Dr. Graham also serves as Chair of the Board of Trustees of The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and is a member of its compensation committee, having previously served on the Carnegie Board from 1984 through 1992.
