Partnership Sourcing Ltd was established by the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in 1990 to promote the concept of partnering in business.
PSL is a company limited by guarantee and is self-financing.
PSL is a knowledge enterprise whose strength comes from a combination of influential support, key sponsors and networking across various communities:
- PSL is actively supported by the DTI and CBI
- PSL has an influential board comprising prominent members from both government and industry
- The PSL steering group comprises knowledgeable directors from a number of large organisations from across Europe
- PSL has an active Partnering Knowledge Network populated primarily by SMEs
- PSL is associated with Networking for Industry, which includes a number of specialist parliamentary groups
