The Pacific Institute for Women's Health (PIWH), "a 501(c)(3), was founded in 1993, by a group of feminist researchers and public health experts who were dedicated to addressing a wide range of pressing health and rights issues affecting women and girls around the world. Recently, PIWH has gone through a process of reinvention and revitalization. We are a small, flexible and creative team, excited about our new agenda, and strongly focused on quality programs with the potential to influence the work of others. As a small NGO without a large budget, every grant is highly valued and our resources are used as wisely and effectively as possible." [1]
