The Orient House "is the Palestinian national gathering place for Palestinians in Occupied East Jerusalem. As the PLO Headquarters in the occupied city, the Orient House aspires to develop Arab East Jerusalem as the capital of the emerging Palestinian state and is today the only Palestinian establishiment in the city to wave the Palestinian flag." Palestinian Cener for Micro-Projects Development

"The Palestinian Cener for Micro-Projects Development or PCMD was founded in 1995 in order to aid Palestinians most in need in Jerusalem as well as the Gaza Strip and the West Bank." [2]

"In August 1994, PCMD signed its first funding agreement with the European Union, to support projects in the field of economic and social development in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. The contract, which was settled between Mr. Faisal Husseini and the European Commission Representative Mr. Manual Marin Gonzales, expired in 1996, when another agreement was signed to support projects in the field of democracy and human rights.

"At the end of 1997, PCMD signed an agreement with the Swiss Government to support projects in the field of education and social services in Jerusalem." [3]
