Oona King "was a Labour Member of Parliament in the UK from 1997 to 2005. She is founder and chair of the Tower Hamlets Advocacy Network & Community Support organisation and an Associate Fellow of Chatham House. While an MP she founded the All Party Parliamentary Group on Genocide Prevention and the Great Lakes Region and actively supported the ratification of the Rome Statutes for the International Criminal Court by the UK."
